Malling Health Limited and Malling Health (UK) Limited (together as Malling Health), provide primary healthcare services across England, and also works in conjunction with traditional GP partnerships across England. Our registered office is in Manchester, England.
Malling Health vision is to provide high quality public healthcare services, working closely with NHS England and local stakeholders in pursuit of achieving the NHS Five Year Forward View to provide long-term sustainable public healthcare.
Malling Health Workforce
Malling Health is responsible for over 400 staff and we consider our workforce our biggest asset. Healthcare sites operating within our group under Malling Health are audited and regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), with openness and transparency in a supportive and respectful environment part of the CQC’s auditable regime. Staff are encouraged to raise concerns and have access to appropriate advice and support for their safety and wellbeing, with a confidential whistleblowing system to ensure that they can confidently raise any concerns without fear of reprisal.
Malling Health Commitment
Malling Health opposes slavery and human trafficking in all forms and will not knowingly support or do business with any organisation involved in slavery or human trafficking. We conduct rigorous onboarding checks to ensure the legitimacy of the nature of our staff’s arrangement to work in the UK and this is underpinned by our Human Resources policies and policies on Whistleblowing. Employees who need to understand our commitment as part of their roles, in particular those working in human resources and recruitment, are provided with training on our standards and processes and on how to spot and react to modern slavery issues during the recruitment and onboarding process.
We are always looking for ways to reinforce our processes to strengthen preventative measures in respect of anti-slavery. We are currently looking to amend our internal audit processes in respect of new suppliers and also as part of our regulatory requirements to the CQC to more easily identify and expeditiously act on any red flag concerns.
Responsibility for this Statement
The boards of Malling Health have overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with this statement and our related policies. Management at all levels are responsible for ensuring those reporting to them understand this statement and comply with our anti-slavery and human trafficking obligations.
Our legal department has primary and day-to-day responsibility for dealing with this statement and any queries about it. The operations department is responsible for auditing procedures and day-to-day operation at site level to ensure that they are effective in countering modern slavery.
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and has been approved by the boards of Malling Health.
