Our aim is to become the best provider of urgent care services across the west midlands

We are open 24hours a day 7 days a week

After you have been assessed in the Urgent Treatment Centre a clinician will identify the most suitable service

E.G. Pharmacists, Dental Practice, Hub Appointment, Department within Russells Hall Hospital, ED, or we may give you self help advice. To avoid unecessary delays you can call NHS111 or check your symptoms on – https://111.nhs.uk/

Patients attending the Urgent Treatment Centre are prioritised on Clinical need, we also provide booked appointments via NHS111. this means that patients that have arrived after you may be seen before you.

Access booked appointments – Call NHS111 who will triage ad go through your symptoms. An appointment will be booked if available.

If you suspect that you have a contagious disease, please dial NHS111 rather than walking in to ensure infection prevention & control, our waiting rooms can be full of vulnerable immunosupressed individuals

The Urgent Care Centre offers non-emergency care for walk-in patients who have minor illnesses that need urgent attention. The Urgent Care Centre is staffed with GPs and nurse practitioners 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Some of the conditions treated here include:

Minor burns and bites
Fever and raised temperatures
Sickness and vomiting
Irritation and rashes
Mild breathing difficulties
Cuts and scrapes

The Urgent Care Centre is co located with Dudley Emergency Department – Access to the Emergency Department is via the Urgent Treatment Centre, our aim is avoid inappropriate attendances at the emergency department so that the emergency Department can concentrate on the most ill and patients and with patients presenting with an immediatley life threatening conditions.patients.


The Urgent Care Centre can not arrange routine scans or blood tests please contact your own GP to be referred.
